Changan CS35 PLUS

I bought the Changan CS35 PLUS in November 2023 and have driven 2,200 km. The acceleration is responsive. However, there are some issues: occasional acceleration顿挫, loud engine noise when starting in cold winter in northern China, no Bluetooth key (hope to add it via OTA update), high fuel consumption of 10-11 L/100km (a full tank lasts only 7 days, hoping it improves after maintenance), and the Changan app is very laggy (takes 1 minute to access the remote engine start page, should learn from BYD).

I bought the Changan CS35 PLUS in Andes Grey, which gets dirty easily. The car drives well with quick acceleration and easy parking due to its 4.3m length. It's small but耐看, and I like SUVs for the ample headroom, though the space is relatively small, which is okay for solo driving but not ideal for frequent family use as the rear seats are stiff with a torsion beam suspension. There's slight jerking and vibration at idle, and noise becomes noticeable above 70 speed. The all-weather floor mats get damp on rainy days. I like the 360-degree camera for narrow roads and the power tailgate, but it's annoying there's no in-car button to open it. I don't like the standard panoramic sunroof though. I actually preferred the Lavida 1.5T but couldn't afford it due to no price negotiation at the VW dealership and budget constraints.

This is my first car, and after researching for over half a year, I chose the Changan CS35 PLUS. After a week of use, here are my initial thoughts. I like its exterior and interior, which were key reasons for my choice. The interior has plenty of soft-touch materials, and the electroplated trim on the dashboard resists fingerprints and scratches well. The physical air-conditioning buttons feel good to press. The 360-degree camera is clear, and the built-in dashcam is convenient. Four-door one-touch up/down windows, power tailgate, lane departure warning, voice control (for windows, sunroof, air conditioning, music, etc.), automatic headlights, and front/rear LED lights are all great. However, there's no seat heating, the top trim only has front/rear power seat adjustment, and there's no vanity mirror light, which my wife minds.
